Because of the tragic loss of our two MSF colleagues Mr Donald Charles, 03/03/2011 and Ms Kadie Losie, 15/03/2011, in Sierra Leone, MSF would like to pay its deepest respect to our two colleagues for their dedication to their work to serve the people of Sierra Leone.

Stuart Zimble, Head of Mission.

It is with great sadness that I have to announce the death of our colleague Donald Charles. Donald had been working with us in Sierra Leone, Bo since 2009 as a community health nurse. He was 38 years old and leaves behind him a wife and five children (aged between 7 and 17 years old). He was himself from the Bo region.
Donald was always smiling and joking with with his/her colleagues. He was a hard worker and got on with everyone. His loss has been a shock for all his friends and colleagues for whom it has been very difficult to resume work without him.

All our thoughts and sympathies are with his family, friends and colleagues. Donald’s spirit will remain in our hearts and minds.

Fabienne de Leval, Deputy General Director

Due to her
excellent performance she was put on MSF contract. She worked in all the wards in Gondama Referral Centre.

Her working relationship with her colleagues was good and her flexibility was very appreciated. Well discipline and punctual. She was a claim person and always with a smiling face.
