John Angelo Pamba (d. January 23, 2011)

The late Angelo John Pamba joined MSFOC B as a Driver in Juba Coordination office on the 27/07/09. While working with MSF, he was highly dedicated, flexible and committed to his duty. His motivation and flexibility to work for MSF-B made him the only driver who travelled near and wide in the mission since 2009.

In 2009 he was among the drivers who participated in the Emergency Intervention program for IDPS in Lasu. Late 2009 he spent a month in Pibor to give support to the vaccination campaign. In 2010 Angelo was moved to Gogrial as a driver and later return to Juba.

On the 21st of December 2010 the Late Angelo John Pamba was part of the Eprep team that left for Renk and Melut Upper Nile. In Renk he got sick and was “medevac” to Juba on the 15/01/11. He was immediately taken to the Generation clinic and admitted. He unfortunately passed away on Sunday 23/01/11 at 9:45 pm after the brief illness.

Angelo is truly missed for his hard work and commitment to MSF especially in the South Sudan Mission.

May His Soul Rest in Peace and we ask his family, friends and loved ones to take Courage.

Our Sorrow,
South Sudan Mission
