Heidi Christensen, (2020-2021) President

Heidi Christensen is a medical doctor since 2006 and is specialized in surgery.
First mission was in 2011 to India doing mobile clinics in Chhattisgarh. Since then it has amounted to a total of six missions to Dargai in Pakistan, Maban in South Sudan, Kunduz Afghanistan, Lesbos Greece and a recent return from Venezuela. Most missions have been as MFP/PMR.
Has been part of the Danish board since 2014 and since April 2016 elected president.

Amanda Godballe (2019-2021) 

Amanda Godballe is a midwife since 2010 and is currently studying a Master in Public Health. Her first mission was to Syria in 2013 and she has, since then gone to Karachi in Pakistan, Khost in Afghanistan, Pibor in South Sudan, Kenema in Sierra Leone and Lesvos - a total of 6 missions as midwife supervisor and lately as PMR. The size and the medical focus of the projects have shown great variety. She has been part of the board since May 2019.

 

Marie Louise Wright (2020-2022)
Marieke is a Medical Doctor who is on her way to be specialized in Family Medicine. Marieke joined MSF as an volunteer during her medicine studies and in 2014 she went on her first mission to Libya. Her second mission was in South Sudan.

Mauro Lucardi, Permanent Board Member
Mauro Lucardi is an architect specialized in environmental design and sustainability. Mauro was born in Argentina and has lived in USA and Canada. Mauro has served in the Board since 2004, and has participated in several voluntary assignments within administration, PR, Fundraising and Events. Mauro is the permanent member of the Board, as required by Danish law. He has been in Sierra Leone, Angola, Moscow, Malawi, South Africa and Brazil with MSF.

Pernille Miller (2019-2021)
Pernille is a pharmacist by education and has worked in the field with both medical and logistics teams. Her MSF experience includes working as Project Pharmacy Manager in South Sudan in 2015, Mission Pharmacy Manager in Yemen in 2016, Iraq in 2017, and Bangladesh in 2018, as well as GDP (Good Distribution Practice) project support in OCB-HQ in 2019. She currently works as a Clinical Trial Supply Manager at Ferring Pharmaceuticals.



Kjeld Kromand (2020-2022)

Kjeld Kromand is today a principal in Kragelundskolen in Aarhus. He has been a principal for 18 years. Kjeld is educated as a teacher with a degree in HR and finance. He has a master’s degree in public governance. Kjeld has done 6 missions for MSF from 2016-2019 in Afghanistan, South Sudan, Sierra Leone and in Greece. He worked for MSF as Learning & Development manager and latest as HR Coordinator. 


Adriana Ferracin Kleivan (2020-2022)

Adriana Ferracin Kleivan is a nurse by background and has later completed a Master in International relations and conflict studies. Adriana has been on 13 emergency missions with MSF, to South Sudan, Syria, Yemen, Sierra Leone, Colombia, Jordan and Nigeria. Adriana is currently working for another large NGO where she is responsible for humanitarian programmes in Yemen and South Sudan. 

Michael Gylling Nielsen (2020-2021) 
Michael is a journalist. He joined MSF in 2003 as Head of Communication in MSF DK office. He has been on several missions among others as a HoM in Zimbabwe and South Sudan. From 2007 to 2015 he worked as the GD in MSF DK.

Kasper Wolthers (2019-2021)

Kasper is a carpenter by trade, currently taken a degree in Technology Management and Marine Engineering. He has been working with and managing small construction businesses throughout Scandinavia and in Australia. Since joining MSF in 2015, Kasper has been on three missions. His main profile is as logistician, but he has been in managing roles of supply, admin and finance as well. Kasper has been to Malawi, Lebanon and South Sudan, where Field Coordination was part of the mission.
